one day you ll be blind
when the whites of your eyes are tattooed with bright lines
a flower bed beneath a window sill
where red painted flowers grow in scorched earth
tears. black. water them dripping wet.
what is this life, every map is written in a tounge i cannot read.
and i wish
one day you ll be blind.
that you beg you cannot see.
when bright lights in your eyes, a soft cotton fog
dig a dozen holes, purging you from your hopes.

I don't know how many times I've purchased digital and hard copy versions this of this record but I will gladly do so many more times if and when I have to. Had the chance of opening for these guys a few years back when they were playing as Never Young, except I had no idea they were the dudes from Calc until mid-conversion with them. Great dudes and great fucking tunes. What's On Deck (?)
